DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE PROJECT
OMGadget is a brand that creates not just cases for phones and laptops, but bright, exclusive accessories that help you stand out and express yourself. The brand's audience is active, inspired people who follow trends, attract attention and collect reactions and "likes" on social networks. It is important for them to choose accessories for their outfit, their mood and their personality. OMGadget believes that the smartphone case is what makes the device special, unique, and memorable.
TASKS
Corporate identity and packaging should be combined with both bright and discreet case designs. The logo should be understandable to the audience and directly refer to the specifics of the brand.
GOAL
To develop a recognizable logo and packaging, universal for combination with a variety of brand cover designs.
RESULTS
The client was satisfied with the result of the work. The design turned out to be unique, and the packaging is harmoniously combined with various gadget cases.
From bright to neutral
design concept
At the briefing stage, we identified the client's need to create a bright juicy corporate identity. Next, we conducted a competitive analysis, compiled a mudboard and selected references. After evaluating the target audience and the client's assortment, it was also proposed to develop a second direction of corporate identity: neutral, close and accessible to both young people and more adults, and also combined with bright and, conversely, more restrained cover designs.
A logo that suits everyone

The conceptualization of the future logo has developed in two directions: The first variations were more vivid and   youthful, the second ones were more strict and   neutral in mood. After weighing all the pros and cons, the client preferred the second option as the most versatile for combination with all products manufactured under the OMGADGET brand.
VARIANTS
The logo turned out to be concise, stylish and modern. Visual rigor and clarity are harmoniously combined with the flirtatious slang of the name.
THE FINAL VARIANT
The sign is the letter "m" inscribed in the smartphone icon. This solution seems simple, while remaining expressive and memorable.
The spelling of the company name uses a grotesque font in lowercase. This makes the logo less strict and more friendly.
packaging options
The client was offered several design options to choose from. The filling and layout of the information on the back of the package was previously agreed upon.
The substrate uses proprietary graphics consisting of smooth thickened lines with rounded corners. This element echoes the outline of the smartphone in the logo.
On the back of the substrate there is a text that catches the personalized appeal "your".
